What Is SLINGER?
SLINGER is a mobile gallery that allows collectors to discover new artists and purchase original sketches, drawings, and studies directly from their favorite artists' sketchbooks.

Artists post original unframed sketches, drawings and studies up to 11" x 14" in size.
Artists post work directly from their sketchbooks and studios, including unframed sketches, drawings, and studies up to 11" x 14". SLINGER was created with artists' sketchbooks in mind, but any work on flat materials, such as paper, matte board, or cardboard, can be posted as long as it fits in one of our envelopes and weighs less than a pound.

Artists choose one of six fixed price points in that range to simplify pricing.
We handle shipping by providing the artist with the necessary packing materials and a shipping label, with the buyer covering the shipping fees.

Artists join by invitation from other artists or can apply for access through a short form.
Current Artists can invite new artists to join SLINGER. Current collectors can apply to become artists by sending samples of their work through a short application.
Artists can trade directly
with other Artists
Trading art with other artists is super fun, but it can get complicated. We keep it easy.
The Trade option is only visible and available to other artists. Artist can acquire a drawing listed for trade is by using one of their Trade Token. What is a Trade Token? see the next section >
What is a
Trade Token?
Your first trade token is on us. The rest you have to earn.
Artists can trade directly with other artists through the Trade option, which is only visible and available to artists. The first trade token is provided for free, with additional tokens acquired through listing art for trade, receiving tokens as payment for a trade, or selling all art and posting a new piece for trade.
